2nd Annual Bad Fish/PAL Striped Bass and Bluefish Tournament
Bad Fish Outfitters and the Police Athletic League of Cape Cod are pleased to announce the 2nd annual Bass and Blue tournament!
This tournament is open to all ages and has separate divisions for both boat and shore anglers. The tournament will be held on June 19th and 20th, capped off by a fully catered banquet on
Saturday night at the PAL center in Falmouth. This tournament will be for Striped Bass and Bluefish. The heaviest combined weight for the two day tournament in each class wins.
The tournament captains meeting is on Thursday June 18th with the fishing tournament to begin at midnight June 19th.
This is a two day tournament with one fish being weighed each day. Winners will be announced at the banquet where we will enjoy a full complement of food and beverage as well as raffle prizes and a slide show of the event.

Bad Fish Bluefish Tourament.
This is a Bluefish only tournament open to kids up to 16 years of age. This tournament is intended to be fun and to help get kids on the water fishing. This will be a week long tournament with daily weigh ins at Bad Fish Outfitters. Stop in the store for more details.
Buzzards Bay Kayak Classic
Buzzards Bay, MA September 19, 2009
Launch Time: 5:30 A.M.
Captains Meeting at 4:00 A.M. SHARP!!Join us for the First Annual Buzzards Bay Kayak Fishing Classic. This event focuses on the Eastern Waters of Buzzards Bay which will be RED HOT during the Fall Migration. This is a Catch-Photo Release (CPR) event.
Open and Fly Divisions:
Awards for longest Each Striped Bass, Blue Fish, Bonito, and False Albacore, as well as combined total length for the "Grand Slam" award
Registration:
A registration fee of $50 to all participants who enter before AUGUST 30TH 2009. Entries after August 30th will be $70. All entries must be received By September 12th. Liability forms must be mailed with entry form!!Captains Meeting:
This is a MANDATORY meeting. Captain's Meeting will take place before launch. If you do not make the Captain's Meeting you WILL NOT be eligible for any tournament prizes. A General Float Plan Must Be Submitted*.
*It is recommended that you fish in a group of two or more for safety concerns.*
FISHING INFORMATION
Open: Live/dead bait, scents, chumming, as well as artificial lures.
Fly: The use of fly rod and reel ONLY.
Fishing Locations: Launch from any point on Cape side of Buzzard's Bay.
Scoring: Fish must be photographed clearly with tape measure. Nose to tip of tail.. Photo must be of registered angler measuring fish with tournament sticker visible in picture. Digital photos must be viewable on PC computer. Bring appropriate cables of or digital cameras. Disposable cameras welcome as long as actual photo is presented at judges table.
If the picture is not viewable on judges PC then an actual photo must be presented. In the event of a tie the second longest fish will determine the winner.
