Bad Fish /PAL Fishing Tournament
June 19th, and 20th Falmouth, Massachusetts
TOURNAMENT RULES
- The Captain’s Meeting is required and will be held on Friday June 18th, at the Police Athletic League on Brick Kiln Road in Falmouth, MA.
- IGFA rules. Official tournament time is local GPS time.
- June 19th - First Day Fishing - lines in 12:01 AM. June 20th - Second Day Fishing - lines out at 3:00 PM.
- All fish must be designated before weighing and must be weighed at the official weigh station in Falmouth Harbor.
- The weigh station will be open each day from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM. Fish caught on Saturday, June 19th, may be weighed at the weigh station on Saturday (June 19th) or retained and weighed on Sunday (June 20th).
- All boats must be in position to weigh fish no later than 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 20th. (No Exceptions)
- The Tournament Channel will be announced at the Captain’s meeting.
- There is no weather committee. The decision to fish is left solely to participants who do so at their own risk.
- The decision to return to port on Saturay evening, June 19th, is left solely to participants.
- Any protests must be made in writing and presented to the Tournament Committee by 7:00 PM each day.
- There is no limit to the number of fishing rods.
- All fish weighed in for prize consideration must be caught from a registered boat or must be a registered shore angler. Only in the event of a mechanical failure may participants fish from another vessel. The Tournament Committee must be advised in writing prior to a vessel change.
- All fish are the boat’s property.
- All decisions regarding any and all issues made by the Tournament Committee are final. There are no refunds.
- Sportsmen like conduct ashore and afloat is expected of all participants and their guests.
